I'm a retired teacher writing my next chapter. My debut novel, Deer in the Road, is a multi-generational family saga set on Cape Cod, that's been called "more than just a beach read." I'm hard at work on my second novel. Stay tuned for updates!

I'm a retired teacher, working on my next chapter as a writer.
I published my first novel, Deer in the Road, in 2025, and I'm currently at work on my second. When I'm not writing, you'll find me reading, golfing, walking, beaching, or cooking — if no one's taking me out to dinner.
I live in Massachusetts, and have a condo in Maine, where I like to go and watch other people ski.
Much of Deer in the Road was written at the Writers’ CLC in Reading, Massachusetts.
The Writers’ CLC is a writing community that provides dedicated writing workspaces, writing circles, critique groups, workshops, and courses to support its members. It is a perfect spot for those who find it difficult to focus on writing in their own homes.
